The Idea
The big idea was a multilingual e-travel platform across all devices that not only lets you book your flights, hotel and activities but also plan your entire trip by the hour with a 24/7 assistance and sharing those moments through a dedicated social network.
The brief included naming, branding and designing the digital platform for the brand with complete creative control over the brand.
The Story
A traveler, a wonderer, a guide, a neophilic adventurer who never stops discovering the world. Who understands the importance of a good plan or being spontaneous. Who understands that wasting time isn’t an option while you’re on an adventure. Who realizes that the happiness is only real when you share it. And that, he, she or it would belong to this new society of curious explorers.
The Name
We wanted to create a name that would let people feel a part of a community, a brand, a lifestyle or a hobby. The noun Globist is a combination of the words Globe which signifies our Earth and "ist" which indicates adherence to a certain custom or profession. This noun gave us the freedom to use it in any way we wanted to.
The Globist Icon
The Globist icon embodies the three core aspects of the brand: journey to an adventure, talk about the adventure and discover every corner of this world.
The Logo
The logo is based on the principles of a circle that represents the earth and infinity, a never ending desire for adventure and experience. There are no edges or no corners on this logo.
The Visual Story
The visual story of Globist is mainly based on breathtaking images of the earth and the interaction of those images with the Globist icon. In essence, creating a visual link between the Globist brand and the beauty of the world.
The platform
The user interface and design of the platform was based on a new experimental concept. We wanted to give a chance to the traveler to visualize their trip on a globe while booking all 4 parts of the trip at once, flights, hotel, rentals and activities.
