The Brand
Dubai Film is a home-grown film and production studio with some of the latest production tech and gear. The aim was a rebrand from a very traditional logo design to something that captures their actual capabilities and creativity.
We wanted to create a brand icon that stands for film, local as well as international work. The perfect solution was to design a common symbol between the Arabic and English logo type. That common symbol was the letter D in Arabic and English. Finally, the universal symbol that signifies movie, recording and production is the "Play" symbol on any media device these days.
